Inspired by the colours of the Medicine Wheel, Balance brings together red, yellow, black, and white as a reminder of the importance of living a balanced life. The Medicine Wheel teaches us to care for the different parts of ourselves and to recognize that each is connected. When one area is neglected, it can affect the whole.

The four colours serve as a reminder to move through life with balance, awareness, and connection, making space to care for ourselves as a whole while continuing to learn and grow throughout our journey.

This design features Bead Soup, a mixture of red, yellow, black, and white beads blended together in one bowl. Using a bead spinner, the beads are picked up at random as the bowl spins, leaving the final colour sequence entirely to chance. The four colours remain connected throughout the design, while each hoop develops its own unique pattern.

Each hoop is individually hand-beaded using a wrapped beadwork technique, with the beadwork permanently secured at both ends to help prevent shifting or unraveling with wear.
